Meet Dr. Shana Friedman

Dr. Shana Friedman enjoys caring for patients of all ages and we’re certain that, just like our patients, you and your family will respond well to her gentle personality.

Dr. Shana graduated from UofT Dental School in 1992. Dentistry is a family affair – her brother and sister chose professions in the dental field too!
In practice for nearly 30 years, Dr. Friedman sees patients of all ages and loves the close relationships that come from treating families living in her own neighbourhood.
A busy mother of three kids, she lives right here in our community.

Rose DaSilva

Aiming to make every dental experience a positive one, Rose’s main focus is to provide you with a relaxed and comfortable experience so that you can get the care you need and want. She loves working with children, and is an expert in helping to ease dental anxieties. Building lasting relationships with her patients is what makes Rose so special.

Dental Hygienist

Jenyvie (Jen) Aceveda

For the past 8 years, Jen has been providing compassionate friendly care tailored specifically to each of her patients. The biggest reward she receives – and it happens every day – is making a difference by helping her patients achieve a beautiful healthy smile, because this also means her patients receive a boost to their overall health, their appearance, self-confidence, and quality of life.

When she’s not at Brush Floss Smile, Jen enjoys playing volleyball, hiking, exploring the city, and supporting our community by volunteering at a women’s shelter. Jen really loves photography and always has her camera in her hand.

Eden Medina

Helping patients. That’s what is first and foremost on Eden’s mind. And the smile on a patient’s face at the end of an appointment is the icing on the cake. Almost 6 years ago, Eden chose our practice because of our supportive and caring culture and camaraderie and how these qualities translate into a truly welcoming trusting atmosphere for our family of patients.

Eden grew up in Manila (Philippines) and came to Forest Hill Toronto in 1996 to enhance her studies. She enjoys her spare time with her family, watching movies together, and one day, she hopes to skydive.

Maria Elciario

A graduate of George Brown College with her Dental Radiography Certificate, Maria fills many roles at Brush Floss Smile. Even so, her professional goal that applies to all is to serve you with the highest level of service and make you comfortable whenever you are here. Her favourite aspect of her job is meeting different kinds of people and helping them to reach the highest level of oral health, and therefore overall health, as they can. She loves the positive environment at our practice.

Maria is married to Rene and they have one child, Avione.

Silvia Leon

With more than eight years of experience in dentistry, Silvia is excited to be part of the team at Brush Floss & Smile. She is focused on providing patients with excellent and gentle care so that every appointment is a positive experience. Silvia firmly believes that prevention is the key to proper dental health. As a hygienist on our team, she witnesses this every time patients reward her with a beautiful, healthy smile.

When she’s not busy at the office, Silvia enjoys drawing and spending time with her family, including her lovely dog named Chica.
